Port of Sóller: northern Mallorca within your reach
Hotel Miramar is not just a place to stay. It is the starting point for discovering northern Mallorca in all its forms: the Serra de Tramuntana, white sand beaches, coves accessible only by sea, villages that seem frozen in time, and cycling routes you won't forget. All within less than an hour.

Sóller Port
A small port in the northwest of Mallorca, surrounded by the imposing Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its bay, dotted with sailboats, retains the tranquil rhythm of places that still belong to the sea.
A historic tram has connected the port with the town of Sóller since 1913, passing through orange groves. On both sides of the bay, Playa d'en Repic and Playa des Través offer crystal-clear waters, white sand and a lively selection of bars and restaurants where you can taste the fresh fish and seafood of the area.
Nearby, Torre Picada —an ancient 16th-century watchtower— and the Museu de la Mar recall the port's maritime history.

The villages of the Serra de Tramuntana
On Saturdays, the local market fills the square with life and island produce. Deià, Valldemossa and Fornalutx complete the most emblematic map of inland Mallorca.
Stone streets, traditional architecture and a way of life that remains true to its surroundings. Three villages, three rhythms, one same essence.

Cycling — Sa Calobra and the Tramuntana
Another essential climb is the Coll de Sóller, with open views of Palma Bay. For more demanding routes, Puig Major (1,445 m), together with the Cúber and Gorg Blau reservoirs, offers one of the most complete rides in the north of the island.
The hotel has secure bicycle storage and personalised advice for planning each route according to level and conditions.

Hiking — La Tramuntana in its purest form
Just a 15-minute walk from the hotel, the Barranc de Biniaraix begins, one of the most spectacular trails on the island. More than 1,000 km of marked routes make the mountain range an ideal territory to explore on foot.
The Miramar hotel collaborates with local guides such as Mallorca Muntanya, which allow you to discover not only the paths, but also the flora, fauna and history of the landscape.

By sea — The coast as you've never seen it
Places that can only be reached by boat, and which help explain why this coast is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The Escola d'Esports Nàutics Port de Sóller organizes excursions, courses and boat rentals, from kayaks to motorboats, as well as activities such as sailing, windsurfing or water skiing.
